International Cultural Exchanges Programs
City of Kyoto declares the policy of "A free city for international cultural exchange is one where people of any countries may assemble freely and in peace, regardless of race, creed or social system, for the purpose of cultural exchange" (Declaration of Kyoto as a city open to the free exchange of world cultures). Under this declaration spirit, we actively promote international exchanges through academic science, arts and sports and play a role of deepening mutual understandings and friendship.

We deepen mutual understandings and friendship by experiencing cultures of Kyoto and Japan which are deep-rooted in the old tradition, and aim at creating trusting partnerships for the future. |
Educational training activities
Our foundation would like to create free atmosphere of exchanging and accepting individual values through learning various cultures and histories around the world and to discover a new culture which we can sympathize with. We also address various activities such as discussion sessions dealing with how we should inherit our own cultures. |
